I will be hosting a retreat for women who want to experience the Holy Spirit through the use of horses and scripture. It will be a day of self-discovery and connection with the Holy Spirit through indoor and outdoor activities.

No riding will happen. It is all completed on the ground in an outdoor arena. 

During this retreat, you will experience an individual connection to the Holy Spirit through prayer, worship, journaling, and activities with the horses.

  This past fall, I worked with a woman who had an incredible fear of horses due to a traumatic event during childhood. At first, she wouldn't even come to the fence if the horse was there. She stepped back, crying each time a horse came up to the fence. She explained her trauma to me, and through talking to her and showing her she was safe, I explained that this is a moment to talk to the Holy Spirit. She came to the fence, then eventually petted the horse. The whole time, she had silent tears rolling down her face. By the end of the day, she was in the arena with the horses, setting boundaries and overcoming her fears. One of the horses actually walked up to her and wrapped its head over her shoulder to hug her. It was such an honor to be a part of this experience and see her gain confidence and courage.

Previous experience with horses is NOT necessary.
